SEMINAR

MARY VIRGINIA SWANSON: Social Media Strategies for Photographers

Tuesday, April 27th, 9:00am – 10:30am

How many people can you reach by pushing a button? And do the sheer numbers matter, or the people behind the numbers?  Are your efforts in having a presence online better served by being “followed” by a broad audience, or by strategically posting with searchable hashtags towards being “found” by curators, gallerists, art consultants, photo researchers and private collectors searching for specific visual content? Can you – should you – successfully have a online presence to satisfy both audiences?

In this updated seminar Mary Virginia Swanson introduces strategies for using social media platforms including Instagram to engage followers in your creative practice and move your career forward.
